How to wear this winter’s leather trend

Wearing leather has often carried an association of black biker jackets and black trousers, but this season’s leather range is wide and exciting!

The shops are offering pale color leather items. skirts and dresses in cream, powder blue, light pink and even white.

These foundation options enable you to team your light colored leather skirt with a simple T-shirt and metal accessories or a square and modern cut light top. But, as you may know by now, I am a big believer in creating interest by using contrasts in outfits.  One way to achieve this is by wearing  your leather skirt with a feminine, button-down fluffy shirt.  My personal favorite option is to contrast leather with denim, each having their own contrasting associations. The leopard scarf adds a third and new story to this outfit.
